This past
week Bridgton Academy Basketball played three games. The first game was
Wednesday night at Lee Academy, and the Wolverines came out playing great
defense and offense. Rayon Miller (Brampton, ON) gave the Wolverines
thirty-three points and Zach Lydon (Elizaville, NY) with twenty. The game was
back and forth, but it all came down to the final seconds when Lydon mad a big
free-throw to give BA the win 75-74. The second game was on Saturday against
Northfield-Mt. Hermon. Although BA started the game slow and was down eight
nothing to start the game, the Wolverines would not give up, and found
themselves down only six points at the half. Unfortunately, Northfield came out
on fire the second half to put BA away with a final score of 78-53. The third
game of the week was on Sunday against Putnam Science School. The Wolverines
gave everything they had, but it was just not enough to match the talented
Putnam team and ended up losing 85-53. BA has their last home game this year on
Wednesday against Brewster Academy at 6:00 P.M. Thank you for all the support
of our basketball team this year.
